It actually premiered last week on BBC America, but I was wondering if anyone caught it? I just watched the premiere On Demand and i think it's great. It's a very intriguing look at the law back in the late 1800's. Very intriguing. I think a few here might enjoy it.

BBC is like AMC now. Most of their shows are high quality. I wanted to watch this but I heard lukewarm reviews. I think I'm going to watch it, though. I trust BBC.

I initially didn't watch it because of the reviews, but I had down time and was curious. I enjoyed it a lot. I like how they didn't tackle your typical "crime." Child prostitution isn't your everyday plot line and I thought they handled it well. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's new episode.

Has anyone watched this yet? I think the second episode was even better. I didn't know they would have the child prostitution be an arc like it is. Very interesting way they are handling it though. The guy who plays Corcoran is pretty stellar.

I can't find it On Demand so I have three episodes taped over the next few days.

Do you have Comcast? I caught the first episode on demand there, but so far there have been only 2 episodes. So you should be fine before Sunday's new episode. I'm curious to see what you think.

I do have comcast but I can't find it. They play hide and seek sometimes.

Ya. Their On Demand organization is odd. At least BBC America replays their stuff. I think you'll enjoy it. It has a sort of Boardwalk Empire feel with some of the political/law corruption but there is actual plot development.

Oh and I should mention that if you plan on watching this with family or kids around ... change your plans. The storyline is very questionable for younger audiences and there is a tiny bit of nudity in the first episode.

It's been renewed for a second season and it averaged over 1 million viewers, very impressive for that channel.

That's what I'm trying to say to you people!!

That vid isn't available in this country but I googled for more. Damn, that looks awesome. Definitely watching that when it comes to BBC America in Jan.
