Americans know these words, but rarely either understand or heed the words.* Yet again we, as Americans, find ourselves enmeshed in yet another catastrophic incident of our liberty being infringed upon.* The National Security Agency (NSA) has yet again had it’s skirt lifted up a titch, and the world now knows what it is up to:* infringement upon the privacy of everyone in the name of making us ‘safe.’* Since when has safety been the silver bullet through liberty?* Instead, we get upset that our privacy is being violated.* But the politicians know that this too shall pass.

What is it going to take for the American public to wake up and smell their liberty eroding faster than a beach?* With each wave wailing upon our liberty, when will the erosion finally be enough for a new landscape to form around our precious liberty that our founding fathers established a Democracy for?
