It's not my type of thing but other than Hayden's cliched character it was very well done, and it's obvious that it's going to be a huge hit. I wonder if they will release the music like Glee did. I assume they will. I don't listen to much country music but I thought the songs were pretty good.

Oh, and Powers Boothe is one of my all-time favorites so I loved seeing him again.

Ya, the songs will be released on iTunes. Well, at least some of them, I'm sure.

Boothe is great in his role, isn't he? There is a little cliche in Hayden's character but I'm sure they'll explain more about her later. That scene with her talking to her mom shows that there is a little bit more there.

I thought that the thing with her junkie mother was one of the cliched parts. But that's okay. No show is perfect. It was well done. I usually am not a big fan of Connie Britton but she was very good.

Oh? You actually struck me as a Britton fan. I don't know why.

And my impression on Hayden's cliched parts were more her spoiled teenage diva attitude. Interesting you thought the druggie mom was.

I love Connie Britton and I think I'm going to like the show. Oh ... and what fun to see Powers Boothe! Hayden's character is mostly spoiled brat/bitch and I am hoping that Connie's character gets a chance to come out on top a few times. I'll watch again, and my husband liked it too.

I only saw Britton on that Michael J. Fox sitcom and I don't really remember her, and on American Horror Story which I didn't like because it was too depressing. I never watched Friday Night Lights. But she is excellent in Nashville. I predict Emmy nominations.

I love it!!!! So many more dimensions than I thought it was going to have when I first heard about it! And that final song was literally to die for

The only actress I am familiar with is Hayden, and tbh I think she did a lot better with this character than she did with "Claire" in Heroes.

Can't wait till next episode, hope the show gets a good following, I wanna see more.

The last song was phenomenal. I wish there were more real songs like that.
