Tempted to read this thread, but I can't...IF there are spoilers!

To read this book, I've JUST NOW started reading The Shining! lol

I got the audio version and was going to listen while I was on the road a few weeks ago. Never got around to it yet though.

I read the first 70 pages, was bored out of my mind, so I tossed it.
Right now, I don't have anything else to read, so I'm trying again.
The Shining was a great book. This is nothing like that.

I read it a couple weeks ago and actually loved it. A big chance for me because, like others, I haven't been impressed with his stuff this last decade or so.

The movie is at the top of my list of SCARY! Can't wait to see a sequel. I haven't read either book but from what i'm reading here;let's hope the movie sequel will be better than the book. I wouldn't miss it!

I read and liked Dr. Sleep a lot. It was interesting to me to see what happened to that little boy, what he became, how everything came about full circle.

The Stand was/is still my favorite of his, though!
