Nooooooooooo!!! Not Michael!!! I was so rooting for him but his selfless move to give up him shoe laces in episode one turned out to be his downfall. That walk was treacherous, a lot more than I was expecting.

I started this episode hating Cody. He is such a douche bag and he seems kind of proud of it. But a funny thing happened half way through the episode and by the end, I moved right on over to rooting for him and his peeps.

the four person alliance changed everything for me and I gotta say, I'm shocked at how ugly they got so quickly. Not allowing 3 people access to a tent you bought for $35,000 of everyone's money? Not giving everyone a slice of that ridiculous pizza you paid for? GO FUCK YOURSELVES! Not only did you guys spend an obscene chunk of cash, but you came across as major assholes doing it.

I was THRILLED that Cody and his buddy got the temptation and decided to use it. It meant that ANOTHER $15,000 was lost, but it was a middle finger to the alliance and I'm so down for that.

I hope the girl who was so emotional about everything sticks around. I loved her conviction and her braveness on this episode. I don't know if she has the mental ability to stick this out, but her heart makes her vital to the show.

The drones were cut out for the most part, as was the music....It's safe to say I am in complete love with this show. I was yelling at the tv and getting mad at certain things which I haven't done in a while on a tv program. Haha.

7 people left. $65,000 up for grabs (out of a possible $200,000)

Ps.....HOW THE HELL IS GINA STILL DOING SO WELL?!?! Lol. I was so sure she was going to be the first one out, but now she's all bitchy and not giving a fuck with her douche alliance. lol

If you love reality tv, you should be watching this. It feels like an evolution to the formula which has grown static. I've seen every season of survivor multiple times over and it doesn't come close to matching the social dynamic I've seen on this show after only two episodes.

I am surprised I'm loving this as much as I am too. I figured I was just gonna watch it for decent ratings for my husband so it would go for a season two, but now I'm totally stuck on it.

I did the same as you Robbie. Cody is a total douche, and I hate that I went over to his side, but that whole spending all this money and figuring you don't have to share because 3 said no? Doesn't matter! It's their money too regardless! I hate that alliance now and hope they fall apart soon. Course I wasn't happy with Cody in charge either, but I guess there will be these leadership up for grabs stuff throughout the whole thing.

And the shoelaces...seriously, I don't feel bad for either of them, because knowing you were going to have to make a trek again, why on earth did you not at least try to make interim laces? You can do it with plant strips or even the girl could have cut a chunk of her hair underneath in the back to make mock laces for the two of them... that was really stupid. My husband said though that the medic that was there, most of the problems they all had was feet. No one kept their feet dry enough like they were supposed to so there were constant really bad feet problems and infections.

My poor husband... he didn't pay that much attention to the game because he was setting up the future camps with cameras and what not while they were at the other, then tearing down the camps they left... but while we are watching I am asking constant questions lolol

He says it gets very dramatic and they make A LOT of big mistakes, so this should be fun lol

I almost see it kind of like a survivor meets big brother kind of thing... it's a lot more hands off than survivor, (less production around them and more hard work for the players) and the social dynamic reminds me of big brother in it's hey day.

I need to watch this damn second episode so I can chat with you. LOL I did see it's repeating sometime this weekend on MTV 2 so I'm going to record it. Couldn't access it On Demand.

You are right KC, I never thought of the "stupid" aspect of the shoelaces. I just wish Michael didn't go!! Lol. He seemed like a really good guy.

I'm with you KC, it's hard to know who I am REALLY rooting for at this point. Cody has done such a bang up job of making me dislike him that I can't imagine my support for him will last long.

More than anything, I hope the black fellow doesn't last long. Out of all the ugly in episode two, his was by far the worse. I couldn't believe the way he talked to people without realizing he was the issue. He's going to be trouble for a group environment.

I thought I might root for Makali (I think that's her name?) but now that she's swinging toward Cody I'm just not sure anymore :/ I kinda wanted her to stay in that neutral place.

I wonder if she realizes she hold power as the lone floater here? I want to root for her as well, something about her makes me want to see her grow on this show and dominate quietly.

She really wasn't given a choice but to find some balance with Cody after the alliance of 4 made it perfectly clear where she stood with them. I hope she uses Cody's strength to her advantage and to the point where it derails him.

I really want Cody's buddy with the black hair to have a wow moment. He seems really close a few times to actually finding a new humble beginning.

I get the feeling that it gets worse though, hahaha. These people are not that far into the game and already seem like they are are mental check points. Day 30 is going to be WHOA. lol.

Ok, watching episode 2 now! Was able to record it on MTV 2 yesterday. I'm only 20 min in and already 2 are gone?! This is nuts. I also am liking Cody more now than I initially did. And Robbie - LMAO I am so shocked Gina is here still. I haven't read everything you guys posted yet because I don't want to see if anyone else leaves this episode. But how is she still doing this?! Good for her!
