Default Some cool songs

I was looking through my list of favorites on youtube and thought I'd share since I've done this before and turned people on to songs they didn't know about.

I saw this one on a commercial and for some reason is makes me want to go back to Hawaii.

If you love the blues, then listen to this one. One of my favorite songs from one of my favorite performers ever. The great Duane Allman, founder of the Allman Brothers Band, and generally considered the second best guitarist ever after Jimi Hendrix. He died in his 20s in a motorcycle accident back in the early 70s. If you don't like the blues, then don't listen to it because it's 9 minutes long. But it's 9 minutes of Heaven if you're into this type of music. It goes back and forth between heartfelt blues and some of the best, nastiest blues guitar in the history of the music.

Catchy Stone Temple Pilot song with the great line "you were always my favorite drug, even when we used to take drugs".

I was so influenced by this great homemade video that I made this the song for my wedding video. The video became a bit of a hit with people because it makes everybody nostalgic. And it's a perfect song for a montage dealing with moments in one's life.

Amazing guitar riff and Hope Sandoval at her haunting best. The kind of song that would be great in a movie, and just may be soon.

Great slowed down version of David Bowie song. Even Bowie himself says this version is excellent.

If this song doesn't get you laid then you're wingz.

Just a kick ass rock song that I also feel is going to play a big part in a film in the near future.

Drunk Irishmen singing a song called Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced. Nothing else needs to be said.

Oh, the memories of my youth.

Right? That whole first album from Norah is one of the best ever. When I first met my wife we would lay in her apartment and listen to that album. It did the trick!!

That album is amazing! I also like the song (although it's not long enough) "Long Day is Over".. makes me think of my grandparents for some reason.
