It's looking like there won't be an NBA season. It seems like the negotiations are going worse than the NFL, and the fact that many players are signing one-year contracts overseas kinda reiterates this.

I love this. Personally I hate the NBA. I know I'm in the minority with that.

I'm with you too. I was also hoping the NFL would lockout too. Could you imagine that? No NFL or NBA in the same year. The only bad thing that would come of it would be all the stadium and arena workers who would be out of jobs. Maybe they should set aside some sort of fund paid for out of the players' overinflated salaries!!!

I'm glad the NFL didn't lock out, but the NBA has never really entertained me. It's just too .... I can't describe it. But maybe this will bring them to earth a little bit.

I don't think it will bring them down to earth. I hope it will, but I doubt it will. They'll still make millions and not think twice about the people they put out of work because of their greed.

Kobe was offered 6.7 million to play in Europe, and the NBA has already cancelled 40+ preseason games. Can you spell L-O-C-K-O-U-T?

The first 2 weeks have now been cancelled, with more to likely follow.

Again, if you ask me ... good riddance. I think it's a reality call that a lot of fans don't even care.
