Default What do you think about this??

I saw this video about a kid with Down's Syndrome participating in MMA. I think it's great because of what it's doing for that kid's self-confidence and how he's using that to inspire other children. A few people I've talked to either don't understand or don't agree with me because maybe they just don't like MMA or the thought of a kid with Down's Syndrome participating in it. I think it isn't such a bad thing also because of the acceptance he feels now. Here's a link to the video:

And if anybody know how to embed youtube videos, please educate me.

The "share" link will embed automatically. Some others are coded weirdly.

OMG this is such a great story. I don't think his dad is a bad parent. These kids just want to be treated like everyone else, and that is what he did. This young man is such an inspiration. Thanks for sharing this Isaac!!!

I totally agree. I just don't know why some people I've shared this with get so upset.

As a mother, I could not in good conscience let my child do this, but I think that is any mother. For fathers I think things like this are easier because it is easier for them to let their children group up whereas mothers want to keep them their little babies forever. What this father was doing was teaching his child, it definitely is not abuse and I am quite certain he would never let his child get harmed!

Also, my husband who is confined to a wheelchair because of cerebral palsy thinks this is a great story.
