I'm watching the premiere right now. I kinda like the new feel on the production. It has a little bit of a new fresh feel than when Nigel was behind it. There is definitely some talent auditioning. I'm sticking with it for now and I think Harry is a GREAT addition.

I am kinda sold on the season, so far. But this "chamber" bit before they walk in the room is silly. It also kinda reminds me of the little room backstage that the Voice contestants sit/stand in right before walking on stage. LOL Also I appreciate them cutting out almost all of the stupid auditions.

Thank goodness Harry is around to kick people out of the damn room. That Rick Roll guy was terrible.

I watched the first night of auditions and felt like it was just really disjointed. There wasn't a flow to it. BF said it's the sound bite format designed to appeal to younger viewers. Maybe that's why I didn't like it...just too old. lol

I didn't bother with watching the second night as it was against The Taste, which will probably wrap up before we get down to Vegas or Hollywood or wherever they do the groups.

I'll watch more seriously when we get into the real competition and auditions are over.

I do think production is being done a little differently to appeal to a younger crowd, for sure. I also think its funny they've adopted a lounge area for the judges to meet and chat on the couch with Ryan a la The Voice!
