Thought I would share some of concert experiences I've had the past few weeks thanks to the Canada Winter Games which have taken place in Prince George this year! It's been something completely unreal and provided our community with something I'm sure we will never experience again. So here we go.
First up, an odd fusion band I had never heard of but apparently are "Canadian famous." Delhi to Dublin is a fusion band mixing Indian, Irish, Western and Electronic music. It took me a while to settle on a song to show here since none of it compares to what I expierenced live.

Went to Said The Whale a few nights ago and were def one of the bands I was really looking forward. Indie Canadian rock and they def kill it! My favourite track of theirs is 'Heavy Ceiling' but I couldn't find a good version, so I went with this hooky little track.

Lisa LeBlanc is one of our more popular French artists right now. Kinda of a dirty rock explosion of English and French, although I went with a full on English album track here. She was by far the least attended, but it made it more personal since she talked to the audience a lot and was generally very funny.

It took me a while shifting though Boom Boom songs trying to find one that represented the band I saw...and I've completely failed. Their live energy is completely different and had a really cool funk swagger to it. But, anyways, here is a track from them, can't say I would buy an album but I would go see them again.
