Okay, I'm in a fantasy football league for the first time in a few years, and I'm trying to set my draft order. Does anybody know how well Adrian Peterson is doing? This could affect my draft order.

I wouldn't draft him high in the first round, that's for sure. It usually takes a year to regain full strength after blowing out your knee, and he's been injury prone to begin with.

Didn't he blow out BOTH his ACL and MCL?? I heard yesterday that he may even be put on the PUP list for the first six weeks of the season, although Peterson himself claims he'll be ready by week one. Definitely a bench or a free agent pick up now.

USA Today blurb: Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson accused of resisting arrest after police say it took 3 officers to subdue him at club.

The cynical Vikings fan in me can only say, "As if he doesn't have enough fumbles."

I was just thinking about this. His knees must not be bothering him that much if it took three cops to subdue him. Or maybe it was the numbing effect of alcohol!!!
