The writing, the acting, the cinematography, and even the music are often perfect and in those last 15 minutes it all came together in the best way.

Ok both seasons are now on Netflix and a third season is coming up, I think in September. I JUST started watching this. I just finished epi 2 from season 1. Great show!

This is what I posted about Sherlock Season 3 in the other thread,

What I heard in some interviews is that they were going film the first two episodes in March/April, which I believe has already happened. Then they are going to take a break since Watson has to apprise his role of Bilbo Baggins and Sherlock as the dragon Smaug for Hobbit 2 post production and principal photography for Hobbit 3. They are going to come back in summer around August/September to film the third and final episode for the season which will probably premiere in November/December 2013 in the UK. BBC will release the season in US and other areas internationally later, probably in December 2013/January 2014.

I think there was talk about a fourth season too. I can't wait. Cumberbatch was on Letterman last night and he was awesome.

It appears more and more people are starting to get over this obsession in America with crap reality, dating shows and scripted penis jokes. All I have to say to that is... IT'S ABOUT TIME. BBC/PBS is really starting to be the place to watch great scripted television nowadays.
