I read an article about her Facebook Q&A when she made the announcement. She stated during this Q&A that this album will actually be more "twangy" and country than before. She said when writing this time around, more of these songs are what made the cut. This single clearly doesn't depict that but it is a good single to return with and start building the hype for the release in Oct!

I'm seeing her next month and I CAN'T WAIT to hear this song live.

And YES! Robbie - that is exctly what I thought about with the single cover.

Once I can post the video, I will. It is so ON POINT. I love it. It tells a story. It showcases the strength of women. It has Carrie playing a guitar!! And it gave us a sneak peek of another song on her album!!

I know I am biased but the critics are speaking for themselves. Her BEST album to date. So much variety and so much of a different sound!!!

LOVE Renegade Runaway, Dirty Laundry, Church Bells, Choctaw County Affair (awesome Delta Blues integration!), Like I'll Never Love You Again, Chaser, The Girl You Think I Am (cute!), and Mexico! LOL This is most of the album. Seriously, different sound. And she kills it!

So I guess Carrie had some incident at her home in the fall that turned out pretty bad.

She is ok but a major injury to her hand and 40 to 50 stitches to her face. She was warning her fans that when she comes out of hiding to expect her to look different. Poor girl
